You didn't lose the ad channels. You never had them.

Every hemp and cannabis company runs into the same wall. The platforms that built the modern growth playbook will not take your money.

#1 The ad

Meta rejects the ad.

Facebook and Instagram treat hemp and cannabis as restricted. Accounts get flagged. Campaigns get disapproved after they spend. Appeals take weeks and usually lose.

#2 The keywords

Google restricts the keywords.

Search ads for CBD, hemp extract, and most cannabis terms are blocked or limited to a narrow certification program. Your buyers are searching. You can't show up.

#3 The feed

LinkedIn ads are a coin flip.

Company pages are fine. Sponsored content gets reviewed by hand, and "hemp" in the copy is often enough to fail review. You can't build a pipeline on a channel that switches off without notice.

Outbound is not a workaround. For hemp and cannabis companies, it is the primary channel.

Email and direct messages don't have an ad review team.

How cannabis lead generation works

How HempLeads puts outbound to work

One 60-minute call. We define who buys from you, who signs, and what a good meeting looks like. You approve the target list criteria before we build anything.

See the full process

Domains authenticated. Mailboxes warmed. Buyer list built and verified. Copy drafted and sent to you for approval. You see everything before it goes out.

The first emails deliver value, not a pitch. We test subject lines and angles in small batches, then scale what gets replies.

Replies handled daily. Qualified meetings on your calendar. Weekly report every Monday. Monthly review to tighten the ICP and the copy.

Everything between "we should do outbound" and a booked meeting.

One monthly fee. No tools to buy. No hires to make.

Sending domains and warm-up

We've been in these rooms since 2005.

HempAware started in 2005 with HempAware Parties, and HempAware Radio has been on air since June 2013. We know the difference between a processor, a wholesaler, and a brand, and who signs at each.

About HempLeads and HempAware
Straight talk

We publish our process because our track record under this brand is new. Fulfillment runs on a partner system that has done this for clients across other industries. The hemp and cannabis expertise is ours. The plumbing is proven.

The guarantee

Replies from real hemp buyers. Guaranteed.

We agree a cold email response-rate KPI with you before launch. If we don't hit it within 90 days, we keep operating your outreach machine at no additional cost until we do.

Replies are what we guarantee because they are the part we control end to end. Meetings are what we work toward and report on every week, and they follow from replies.

Who this is for. And who it isn't.

A good fit

  • Hemp and cannabis companies that sell to other businesses: wholesalers, ingredient suppliers, extractors, labs, packaging, ancillary software, cultivation supply, dispensaries with a wholesale arm.

  • You have an offer that has already sold at least a few times.

  • You have the capacity to take on new accounts this quarter.

  • Someone on your team can show up to a discovery call and run it.

Not a fit

  • Selling direct to consumers. That's a different problem.

  • Pre-product or pre-revenue. Outbound finds buyers. It doesn't validate the offer.

  • Not yet at steady revenue. Outbound multiplies a working business. It doesn't substitute for one.

  • Looking for a one-week blast. We build for reply rates that compound.

Not sure? Book the call. We'll tell you straight.

Questions we get on every call

Anything else, ask us on the call. We'll answer it straight.

Book a Discovery Call

Is cold email legal for hemp and cannabis companies?

Yes. In the United States, business-to-business cold email is governed by CAN-SPAM, which doesn't restrict by industry. It requires accurate sender information, an honest subject line, a physical postal address, and a working opt-out honored within ten business days. We meet every requirement on every email. What CAN-SPAM regulates is how you send, not what you sell. See our cold email page for details. This isn't legal advice.

How fast will I see meetings?

First outreach emails go out in week 3 to 4, after domains are warmed and copy is approved. Most clients see first replies inside the first week of sending and first meetings inside six weeks of kickoff. Week 1 to 3 is infrastructure. Skipping it is how domains get burned.

What do you guarantee?

A cold email response rate. We agree the KPI with you before launch. If we don't hit it within 90 days, we keep operating your outreach at no additional cost until we do. Not a refund, and not a meetings count. Full terms are on the guarantee page.

What counts as a "qualified meeting"?

A scheduled call with a decision-maker or buying influencer at a company matching your agreed ICP, who agreed to the meeting knowing what you sell, and who showed up. If they no-show, we rebook them. Meetings are what we optimise for and report on. The guarantee itself is on cold email response rate, because replies are the part we control and meetings follow from them.

Will this hurt my company's email domain?

No. Cold outreach goes out from separate sending domains we purchase and warm for you, never from your main domain. Your normal email, invoices, and customer communication are untouched.

Can you target specific states, or avoid them?

Yes. State rules on hemp and cannabinoid products vary, and your buyer list should reflect that. We build geography into the ICP from day one and exclude states where you can't ship or sell.

How long is the contract?

Month to month. Cancel with 30 days' notice. The guarantee runs on a 90-day window because that's how long it takes for outbound to compound, but you're never locked in past the next month.

How much does it cost?

We walk through pricing on the discovery call. One monthly fee covers domains, tooling, list building, copy, sending, reply handling, meeting booking, and reporting. The number depends on how many buyers we're targeting and whether we run the social track.

Do I need my own tools or CRM?

No. We bring the sending platform, the data sources, and the reporting. If you already run a CRM, we'll push booked meetings into it. If you don't, the weekly report and your calendar are enough to start.

What do you need from me?

One 60-minute kickoff. Copy approvals inside two business days. Your calendar link. Feedback on meeting quality once a week. Then show up to the meetings. That's the whole job on your side.

Let's see if your ICP responds.

30 minutes. We'll look at who you sell to, tell you whether outbound will work for that buyer, and walk through pricing. If it's not a fit, we'll say so.
